Down Shift have been playing various gigs since they formed and have grown a small fan base. Recently, the band has been recieving attention throughout the tri-states by getting airtime on several radio stations.
The band headed off to Nashville recently to be a part of a tv series for up and coming new bands. They were able to make a music video of their first single "only u" which can be seen on www.bediscoveredtvseries.com soon. They are competing against seven other groups for a chance to win a record deal with MCA records. To help them out, check out the site listed above and vote for them! Band Updates
They have a gig coming up next weekend at the Paintsville Rec center. Everyone's invited to attend, and they'll be selling their CD for . Another local band will open up with a set, then DownShift will play an extended set.
